Friday, December 4, 2015 Happy Birthday Morrison!!!
I had my kids doing school prior to our breakfast “birthday” celebration for Morrison. They got some school done but not all of it. Oh well…..we were celebrating the life of Morris Morrison and his family that are now our friends!
Hung out all day – Big breakfast for Morrison’s birthday – Lisa cooked it all up and we all sat together to eat breakfast. It was really fun and special to be there for Morris’ birthday.
Morris and I spent mid part of the day in his office – business meeting sort of speak…..connections and ideas for the future. He showed me his presentation and how he orchestrates and presents his materia….wow! What a story!!! I was crying during several parts of the presentation. He does a great job.
Midway through Lisa remind him that he needed to remember to get ready for the Polar Express day out with Dori. We wrapped up what we could knowing we could have talked all day. But Morris expressed that he would love to grow more business in the midwest and that he would love for Dawson and I to assist him in networking with our “midwest” or HOME connections!
The Morrison’s got all ready and looked so nice – Dori was in her awesome jammies and she was so very excited. It was very cute. We took some photos of them as a family in front of the Christmas tree and then they headed out. Both of them wanted us to stay and make ourselves at home while they were gone. I felt like we had taken over anyway- but we did plan to stay for a while, finish school and hang out. We finished up some school and decided to go walk Summer around the neighborhood and to the park across the main street.
We went to “Hope Park” it was super fun and a great weather day. It was down the hill and since the sun was out it felt awesome with no wind blowing. The kids were able to run and play and we stayed up there a long while – probably close to an hour. We walked back to the Morrison’s and had to decide what we should do. We cleaned up the house so that the Morrison’s would come home to a picked up, clean house.
It was a tough decision but we decided to go check on the RV and stay home tonight. If we go back – I will go to Yoga at 7. We were torn – kind of wanted to stay again but feeling like we should go to the RV too. Dawson is still in California until tomorrow….we wish he was here with us. We miss him but he has had a productive trip for work. So we loaded up and off we went with very mixed feelings. We got into a little traffic on our drive and at one point the kids even asked if I could turn around and we could go back to the Morrison’s – but we forwarded on…..although I did have the same thought myself. It was just so comfortable for us there with the Morrison’s.
Bag at the RV – all was safe and sound. I had plenty of time to get ready or yoga. The girls went with me with their ipads and Q stayed with Summer on the RV. I gave him all his instructions not to open the door etc. He said he would be fine and not to worry. He is getting so grown up and he is a great kid. It was only going to be a little over an hour that I would be gone. He will fine.
Yoga back at YOGA ONE - awesome for me – deep stretching with Barbara. Meghan was at the front desk and would keep an eye on the girls. Rose face timed Franki about 25 minutes into the session – stressed me out – I could hear them but Barbara just turned the music up and kept us going – that seemed to work and drown the noice of the girls. As I am trying to let go and relax - I was stressing out about it. Good lesson to just work through it....no one heard them like I did.
We ordered Hungry Howie’s Pizza – from the place next store to the yoga studio. We waited for the pizza and ended up talking to Taylor from the yoga class. She was super sweet and said we would like Charlston….she lived there for the summer. That got the girls more excited for moving on this Sunday. The pizza was done and Taylor’s ride showed up so we headed back to the RV. The pizza was awesome – very yummy! We liked it a lot. Q did great being there by himself. We also rented a red box for the night. We will miss the Morrison’s tonight and their super soft bed sheets! LOL>
We watched our Red box movie: McFarland USA…..then called it a night. Daddy comes home tomorrow afternoon. We all slept great and are blessed for all the blessings that have fell upon us this week!
God is stirring the pot here in Charlotte for the Fercho’s: John and Shannon, Morris, Lisa & Dori, Carla and Steve, Yoga ONE, on and on and on. This is going to be FUN!
Praise be to God!
